Crew members are involved in nearly all aspects of vegetable production including seeding, transplanting, tomato trellising, weeding, and a whole lot of harvesting. Individuals who are enjoy working with others, tending to plants, and the satisfaction of accomplishing a big project will be a good fit for this role. We value a respectful and friendly team work environment and thus do not tolerate any bigotry or prejudices based on identity.
Compensation is $17-21 per hour, based on experience, plus access to free surplus and cull vegetables. Experience in vegetable production or other types of agriculture is a plus, but not necessary.
Job Qualifications:
- Communicates their needs and reliably meets commitments
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Can safely lift 40lbs occasionally throughout the day
- Available consistently May - October
